Consultees feedback
“I can’t tell you how incredibly useful the training/consultation I’ve done with and through you over the past year has been! I feel like I am a totally different therapist than I was a year ago – it’s actually quite shocking! Anyhow, thank you for your commitment to equipping and training other therapists – it is making a difference!”
I am proud to say that I have recently become a certified EMDR therapist and I could not have done it without Sue’s gentle, thorough and skillful guidance. Sue’s approach to EMDR has greatly shaped the way I work with clients. Not only do I have solid understanding of the basic protocol, I also feel more attuned to my clients, more confident in my ability to work with dissociation, and more attentive to the implicit experience. My impression of Sue is that she is a rock with a solid, fearless presence who isn’t afraid to trust and follow her clients… and her consultees! Working with her has deepened my work and allowed me to follow my own clients, wherever they need to go! Thank you Sue!
From New EMDR Trainee/therapist: “I wanted to thank you for equipping us so well. I have been getting more and more comfortable using EMDR with my clients. I am always amazed at how quickly the clients move through things that have troubled them for years. “
The consultation meeting today was reaffirming, and quelled some of my fears around “doing the EMDR properly”. Sue provided comprehensive solutions to my stuck points as she tapped into her vast experience with this method. Listening to the casework of another group member who attended the consult was also encouraging and helpful. Thank you, Sue.
